Harvested 703 lbs of grapefruit, oranges and tangerines today. The people upcountry were happy to give and the seniors at Hale Makua were very grateful. A good day.
Today one of our harvesting homes was at the beautiful “Lokakane Protea Farm” in Pukalani.
Thomas and Pat were kind enough to donate 277 pounds of lemons, limes and oranges that was also grown on their farm. We have been here many times now and it’s always a pleasant visit. The seniors at Hale Makua are always happy to receive such delicious, nutritious fruit.
Thanks Pat and Thomas.

What a great idea, fruit. You neighbors are very fortunate to have fresh fruit where as ours are mostly frozen, then shiped. Thanks for a great website. tobbywaun1@yahoo.com
Many thanks, Tobby, for visiting our website, and your compliments! We are indeed fortunate to live on Maui and be able to harvest delicious fruit throughout the year, and then share it with others. If you ever visit here, we’d love to meet you on one of our harvests! Mahalo and blessings, Suzanne
